Standby generators are like any motor and need to be serviced annually to make sure it's in proper working condition. Should the standby generator we sell you fail for any reason, our factory trained servicemen are able to perform all repairs. We also repair standby generators that we don't install or sell. We carry a large inventory of spare parts. We are so confident we will have your spare part in inventory, that if we don't, we will take 5% off your invoice for the repair. This excludes large specialty parts such as engines, alternators, rotors, and stators.

The first time customers spoke, it was about ten years ago asking us to install Heat Pumps . We always felt that before we committed to do that, we had to know that we could become the best at it. About 3 years ago, we took the plunge. Now we are regarded as the best in the field. We are recognized as the leader in Heat Pumps. We had started just making this service available to our current customers (for the first year), now we are at the top. We had to search for the best brand which we now have. We are the only dealer currently with a 12-year parts, labor, and travel warranty, not just parts. Many dealers only offer 1- or 2-years labor and travel warranty. Yes, once again we are at the top, this time a top dealer in the Heat Pump industry, because of the
DIRFY DIFFERENCE!
Another field our customers have asked us to get involved in is Solar. Unfortunately, we are not quite ready to enter this field. As with the heat pumps, we want to be at the top when we do. We are still working diligently, gathering all the information, searching for the best brand, and the best value for our customers.
And yet another field customers have reached out for, interesting enough, has no relation to our core business. As a result, we have never pursued it. Yet the demand was high. Requests were high. We had dozens of customers ask us to help them with this need. They needed someone they could trust. The request? Handyman services.
We thought, how does handyman services relate to a generator company? How can the top dealer in New England could even answer this customer request. These requests have been coming in for years, but we felt this was not and could not be a core of our business. We referred those requests to handyman specialists. Unfortunately, we received complaints on some of those referrals. We were unable to address them, as they weren’t under our control. This was not the DIRFY way.
We then began to perform a few in-house handyman services for some of our elderly customers to help them. We stayed with some light projects that our technical staff felt comfortable to handle, and even added snow shoveling around generators. We found the handyman requests just kept growing, so we have once again listened to our customers, and decided to fulfill their requests.
We will be hiring highly experienced handyman technicians to our staff. Although they will be added as team members with the generator and heat pump team, their specialty will be assisting customers with their handyman needs.
Although we do not have a list of things we will or will not do, everything is open at this point. Once we receive your request, we will review with our dedicated team and decide if the project will fall under our guidelines. It is imperative we are capable to offer the same excellent value and service as we do for our generators and heat pumps. This is the
